Practice digraphs such as sh and ch, final-e patterns, vowel teams, and parts of two-syllable words. Return to simple words when a sound pattern needs more support.

Compare bars of equal length. One half of a small bar and one half of a much larger bar are the same fraction of different wholes, but not the same absolute length.
